USP Motorsports specializes in Volkswagen, Audi, and Porsche performance upgrades, and repairs. Specializing in these particular European vehicles is very important due to the fact that they demand a very high level of knowledge and experience to master. These vehicles require almost a complete seperate arsenal of specialty tools and electronics to complete repairs correctly. If you are not familiar with these vehicle platforms, it is very easy to further damage the car and promote catastrophic failure. And as most are aware of, European original equipment parts are not cheap.

Here at USP Motorsports, we have all the proper tools and experience required to perform full service on Volkswagen, Audi, and Porsche platforms. Our technicians are professional and ASE certified, not garage mechanics. Only European car specialists work on vehicles at USP Motorsports. These technicians do not install or recommend any parts be replaced unless they must be. They do not have a sales quota like some dealerships. After over 10 years of experience, there is rarely a problem on these vehicles we can not repair efficiently and effectively. Our work is a perfect dealership alternative.

Oil Change - We use OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) oil filters, not generic filters, and Mobil 1 Full Synthetic oil. When our technicians perform oil change services, they also inspect your vehicle for common problems as a preventitive maintenance precaution to help prevent breakdown and / or catastrophic failure. We do not use an entry level lube technician for oil change services like the dealership.

Brakes - Braking is one of the most important aspects of your vehicle. It is very important to maintain and inspect your brakes on regular service intervals. USP Motorsports uses only high quality or OEM brake components to ensure your vehicle's braking system remains safe and reliable.

Timing Belt Service - The timing belt service is a mandatory, large service required on your vehicle varying between 45k and 75k miles. It is extremely important to complete this service due to fact that these vehicles have interference between valves and pistons.. Failure to do so will result in complete catastrophic engine failure. During this service, it is recommended by USP Motorsports and your vehicle manufacturer to also replace the idler roller, tensioner roller, water pump, thermostat and accessory drive belt. This is an expensive, but mandatory service. Neglecting this will end up costing you more then 5 times the amount of the service.

Steering, Suspension & Bushings - Suspension and steering systems are the key to keeping your vehicle riding smooth and feeling in control. Problems in a vehicles suspension and conrtol arms will cause multiple issues including, but not limited to, clunking, uneven tire wear, uncomfortable ride, improper alignment, and squeeking. Malfunctioning suspension components will cause irregular tire wear and could potentially greatly decrease the life of your tires, costing money in the long run. Routing maintenance services at USP Motorsports include an inspection of the suspension and steering system of your vehicle. Our technicians are highly experienced in these platforms making diagnostics of customer issues and preventitive maintenance very efficient.

Tire Mounting & Balancing

USP is now pleased to offer tire mounting and balancing services in house. State of the art tire mounting and dismounting is accomplished via our Hunter TC3500. This machine gives us the ability to mount wheels ranging from 13" to 26" in diameter and 4" to 15" in width. We are also able to mount those tricky low profile tires, with profiles as low as "20".

Along with our tire mounting capabilities we also offer state of the art tire balancing. Our Hunter GSP 9700 tire balancer is equipped with “Roadforce” to ensure a smooth vibration free ride at any speed and on any roadway. Tired of you car pulling to one direct even after you get a 4 wheel alignment? Well, USP has the answer. Our Hunter GSP 9700 is also equipped with “Straight Trak” technology. This allows us to evaluate each wheel and tire, and then position it on the car accordingly to eliminate that stubborn pull when you let go of the steering wheel.

USP Motorsports routinely corner weight and balances the vehicles of our track enthusiast and spirited driving clients. Corner-balancing is simply adjusting the car so there’s an equal amount of weight on all four tires. When it comes to road course racing, the ideal cross weight percentage is 50 percent. This makes the cornering force balanced from left to right and offers the best performance overall. However, it is not that common to see vehicles meeting this demand due to the driver offset or factory weight distribution.

Each individual application can be custom tailored for different tracks, or better drag racing setups to help improve traction. We adjust and balance the vehicles at USP Motorsports using Longacre computer scales, with an individual scale under each tire. The actual adjustments to the vehicle are made via the coilover suspension and in some cases, distribution and relocation of weight such as batteries or fuel cells, etc.
