Lowering height will vary on vehicles with factory sport suspensions. When lowering the chassis more than 1.4", and your vehicle has a 42mm or larger drive shaft you must use one of H&R's Volkswagen front sway bars to accomplish adequate drive shaft clear- ance.

Their threaded body means that the outside of the strut or shock tubes are threaded like a bolt. This allows the threaded spring perch to be moved up or down to fine-tune the ride height, optimizing looks and handling.
