1.8T To 2.0T Oil Filter Housing Adapter Plate

One of the most common upgrades for the 2.0T FSI engine is converting from the problematic oil pump to that of the earlier generation 1.8T engines. The 1.8T 06A oil pump conversion requires deleting/capping the high pressure oil return channel in the block . By capping the high pressure oil return channel , the plastic OEM 2.0T FSI oil filter housing is now inadequate to return excess oil (oil pressure) back to the oil pan. This adapter plate allows the use of the 1.8T oil filter housing (which has a built in spring loaded pressure valve) onto a 2.0T FSI 06F block.
