Achieving optimal airflow is a delicate balance of increasing volume and size while maintaining an optimized shape for efficient air travel through the turbo inlet pipes. Utilizing advanced 3D scanning, flow simulation software, and rapid prototyping, our inlets maximize the flow characteristics while ensuring a perfect factory-like fitment. This results in a substantial 70mm inner diameter, occupying all available space for the highest possible airflow.
Cast Aluminum
To accomplish the unique shapes and bends necessary for maximum airflow, iE turbo inlets are manufactured from aircraft-grade aluminum castings. This process yields an attractive finish and an incredibly durable product that retains all factory connections and mounts for a seamless install.
Hybrid Turbo Support
iE 4.0T Turbo Inlet Pipes are designed to accommodate stock or hybrid turbos. Our CNC-machined and O-ring sealed adapter rings provide a smooth transition from the large inlet to stock or TTE1020 hybrid turbochargers. The turbo inlet is oversized and seamlessly tapers down to the turbo to meet air supply demands.
Note: The larger inlets and oversized silicone components are specifically designed as a direct upgrade for the iE Cold Air Intake System only.
