A dual mass flywheel attaches to the engine’s crankshaft and contacts the clutch. As a clutch begins to wear, hot spots can begin to form on the flywheel. Hot spots can lead to warping of the flywheel’s contact surface which will cause the clutch to slip. This Luk flywheel is made by Audi’s OEM supplier and is a direct replacement for the factory flywheel.
