Why M8 Bolts?
M8 bolts are commonly used for fitting master cylinders due to their strength and load capacity, and their resistance to vibration and pressure. The bolt’s diameter (8 mm) provides enough surface area to distribute the load evenly without overstressing the threads or the material.

Master cylinders are critical components in braking and clutch systems, so they require bolts that can securely hold them in place under significant pressure and force.

M8 bolts offer a good balance of strength without being overly large or heavy — meaning they don’t complicate installation or interfere with other components.
