Looking for a simple way to read ethanol content DIRECTLY from your ethanol sensor? Your search stops HERE! Introducing the P3 ESVA.
P3 Gauges has developed a simple device that will allow you to read information directly from your ethanol sensor.
Ethanol content - Analog Input 1 (brown wire on OBD2 harness of P3 gauge)
A1.Y
A1.DP - “9999.” (no decimal points)
A1.Lo - “0”
A1.Hi - “100”
A1.bL - “0”
A1,bH - “100”
FUEL TEMP - Analog input 2 (blue wire on OBD2 harness of of P3 gauge)
A2.Y
A2.DP- “9999” (no decimal points)
A2.Lo - “-40”
A2.Hi - “257” Fahrenheit (“125” for Celsius)
A2.bL - “-40”
A2.bH - “257” Fahrenheit (“125” for Celsius)
(BOTH ANALOG INPUTS ON P3 GAUGE ARE IDENTICAL AND CAN BE USED INTERCHANGEABLY AS LONG AS CONFIG SETTINGS ARE CORRECT FOR EACH INPUT)
If you experience erratic readings, confirm that your ethanol sensor is connected to a known good chassis ground.
(it has been found that signal ground cannot always properly support the ethanol sensor)
