Spulen Front Subframe Locking Collar Kit For VW/Audi

Eliminate subframe clunk or shifts with the Spulen Front Subframe locking collar kit. A common issue that occurs on most applicable VW/Audi is that the subframe shifts when taking turns or going over uneven ground, causing dislocation or a twist in the chassis, which leads the subframe bolts to touch and scrape against the sidewalls of the subframe. This leads to clunking or grinding noises coming from underneath your car, which only get worse with time. The constant shift in the dead space between subframe and the bolts also leads to improper body roll, which can affect your cornering performance. We've developed this kit to eliminate any play between the subframe and the collar bolts, which leads to a quiet, stiffer, better performing subframe. 

Torque Spec:

- Please note the bolts used in this kit are stretch bolts. Therefore, when installing, you must meet the torque spec below, then turn the wrench an additional degree listed. 

• Lower Subframe Bolts: 70Nm (51 Ft-lbs) + 90 degrees (Stretch Bolts)
