The wheel locks are an insurance policy to secure your stock or aftermarket wheels, a 42mm, chromium steel wheel lock set. An easy to use 3 piece wheel socket set that comes coated with soft plastic to ensure your wheels are not scratched when removing the bolts. Followed by the included wheel guide tool, thread this Wurktol piece into the first available thread once you begin removing your wheel. This guide tool will ensure that your wheel does not fall off when all 5 bolts are removed. A 45 piece Wurktol will allow you to cover most small jobs needed in your garage or on the road. 

Wurktol 3-Piece Wheel Socket Kit

Protect your wheel from a socket or wrench scratch with this 3 piece Wurktol Wheel Socket Kit. Most factory tire wrenches or even regular 17, 19, or 21mm sockets were not made for wheel bolts. Therefore they are sometimes manufactured with rough finishes or sharp edges. This makes it very easy to scratch your wheel while tightening or loosening your wheel bolts. Most Volkswagen and Audi, for example, come with a standard “L” tire wrench with a hex shaped outer surface and a 17mm hex socket interior. The VW/Audi OEM tool has sharp finishes on the outer portion which will inevitably scratch the surface on your OEM or Aftermarket wheel on possibly the first attempt to remove a bolt. Our Wurktol kit prevents damage with a soft, plastic sheeting cover around the socket. This allows the bolt channel to remain undamaged during bolt removal, or reinstallation. With a half inch (1/2”) port, each socket allows standard use with most impact guns or ratchets. With 3 sizes included, this kit is usable on most European vehicles with OEM and aftermarket wheel bolts.

Wurktol Wheel Guide Tool - M14X1.5

Whether you are a pro tech, a DIYer, or just simply someone with a flat tire on the side of the road, make your life simple by threading on this guide tool to your wheel, then pick your car wheel up and sliding to the correct position using the Wukrtol Wheel Guide before attempting to bolt everything up. For an even easier wheel installation we typically recommend using (2) guide tool on opposite sides from each other. While this technique is more recommended for professional mechanics, it works very well for all experience level. We offer fitment for all M14X1.5 (VW, Audi, Porsche, Lamborghini, McLaren, etc), and also M12X1.5 (BMW).
