Not only does this housing make your engine bay look clean and beautiful, it helps dissipate heat through the use of our patent-pending cooling fins. 

The factory plastic housing takes on a lot of damage from countless heating and cooling cycles throughout the life of your vehicle. Cool Flow Cooling Fins

USP Motorsports has developed these fins across a wide range of oil and DSG filter housings to help with oil/fluid heat dissipation. The fins along with symmetrical drilling points allow the hot oil flowing through the oil filter to transfer a small amount of heat. Maintaining the intended viscosity (Oil's weight) is extremely important for optimum oil performance. Therefore it is important to use every resource available to ensure that thermal breakdown is avoided at all costs. Proper oil/fluid temperature will allow your engine to run smoothly and as intended.
